Me aka Karin: 39ish (okay 41 - hush) years old, wife to Mike for 16 years, mom to Baby Girl/Little Girl (two years old as of December 2, 2006), former elementary school teacher, church singer, heart patient, only child, geek, blogger

Mike: 42 years old, husband for 17 years, father of Little Girl (formerly known as Baby Girl), musician, handyman, works very hard so I can stay home with our daughter, oldest of four children (has one brother and two sisters), designed and built the house we live in

Baby Girl/Little Girl: The long awaited one, three years old as of December 2, 2007, the light of our lives, future musician, 8 weeks premature, totally caught up now (at least physically), the most adorable and brilliant child in the universe.

Melody: The newest puppy in our lives. Born November 2005 - adopted from the Humane Society January 10, 2006.

Majerle: our dog who passed away January 2006, named after Dan Majerle (used to play for the Phoenix Suns), almost 14 years old when she died.

Lady: another dog who passed away in October 2005, she and Majerle were adopted from the pound on the same day, she was 13 years old when she died.

Bob: our third dog who passed away in October 2004, he was part Rottweiler but a big pussycat, he showed up at our house one day and never left, he was 11 years old when he died.

My Mom: passed away March 2000 of end-stage renal disease, her last few days were spent at our old home on hospice care so she was able to die a dignified death as she chose, I miss her very much.

My Dad: there are issues here folks, not the least of which is the fact he married again 5 months after my mom died, we rarely talk because his wife is a witch…’nuff said.

She Who Shall Not Be Named: my dad’s wife, not a nice person, example: on the day Little Girl was born via emergency c-section, Mike called to tell my dad and she hung up on him, Voldemort has nothing on her.

Marlene: my best friend and godmother of Little Girl, I’m godmother of her Princess, we sing at church together, mother of four beautiful kiddos, we try to walk twice a week but sometimes we are lazy :D

Rochelle: very good friend and bass player/alto at church, college student, the little sister I never had, oldest of 4 girls.

Mr. Syndromes: longtime friend who lives in San Diego, tells it like it is, we met on the internet many moons ago, one of those people you can talk to about anything, and believe me I have.

Theresa: new friend met through blogging, mother of four including twins, one of the most entertaining bloggers out there, we burn up the email servers every day!

The House: designed and built by Mike, construction began in 2000, we moved in January 31, 2003, it’s still a work in progress as you will see, but one day it will be truly magnificent.
