A Happy Ending
It seems like so long ago that I told you about my friends who were trying to adopt a baby. In actuality it was 3 1/2 years ago and in the interim they had another baby come home with them and end up back with the birth father. And there were other almost adoptions along the way that didn’t work out – a lot of heartache for two very nice people. But just a few months ago, they finally had another chance at adoption and this time it stuck. They got a beautiful baby girl. And on top of that, they got pregnant and after several miscarriages, this pregnancy “stuck” as well. And now they’ve come full circle. On Sunday they became the proud parents of another baby girl. I like happy endings. They’re the best kind. And they certainly deserved it to be doubly good. Thanks for all of your prayers throughout these 3 1/2 years. I guess this story is proof that it works!
