Fragility
Life is such a fragile thing. My dad just called to tell me that she who shall not be named’s daughter died. She was only 51. I’ve never met her daughter, although I do know one of her sons and he’s a very nice man. And as much as I still do not care for she who shall not be named, I can’t imagine losing a child. And not being able to go the funeral because of your own health. It’s all so very sad. So, I guess finally I can sympathize with her on some level. And at the same time, I hope I never have to know what it feels like…

Here, Here, my dear. Whatever you may feel about her—And I can totally understand whatever it is—this is a terrible loss. I too hope you never ever experience that with your precious LG.
I know a number of very dear people–Good Good Friends—who have lost children…There is nothing more devistating.
I think of two dear friends, immediately….And neither will ever EVER recover from this. Yes, they do go on, but, a piece of their hearts has been destroyed, forever.

That sad. No-one should loose a child. My thoughts are with her and her family.
And yes..that is a reminder that life is extremely fragile
