		<description>I was painfully shy as a kid too. And I was voted "Most Shy" my senior year in high school. The funny thing is that I took it as a compliment that that many people even knew who I was t vote for me! 

Like you, I've overcome it too, out of necessity. Most people who know me now don't believe I was ever shy! And it's really mind boggling to me to see my daughter be so outgoing. She's nothing like I was at her age!</description>

		<description>I love this post. Letting our kids go through stuff is the hardest part of being a parent, I think. We always want to rescue them and save them, but we can't. It's a hard lesson to learn and maybe one that you've figured out sooner since you were older when you became a mom. It took me much longer. and I still don't think I'm very good at it.</description>
