A Moment of Silence, Please…

…for LG’s dear, now headless, dinosaur/lizard (she keeps changing her mind which one it is).

A Moment of Silence

Spartacus, the dinolizard, was a loyal companion who loved to roar at unsuspecting people. His life was cut short by a giant dogosaurus named Melody.

We found him in the back yard missing his head, a foot and part of his tail. His owner, Little Girl, took it well, even though her mother was certain she would become verklempt.

LG, however, seemed certain that we could replace the dinolizard at the grocery store where we were going to shop for groceries.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t find another dinolizard, but we did find something she liked almost as well…

Dino Babies

Rest in peace Spartacus the dinolizard.

We had a dogasaurus that ate all things plastic or vinyl once. Poor unsuspecting items that were greatly loved (but not loved enough to be put away properly) were mangled and mauled by said dogasaurus.

I’m glad LG got a whole new family of dinos. I just love it when girls love things that aren’t typically “girly” (like dragons, dinos, bugs, reptiles, sports, etc).

This brings back memories of my girls and their dinosaur items……books, puzzles, stuffed animals, and more. We to had a dogasaurus who also enjoyed playing with these items! I would love to be a kid again.

I do believe I still have my favorite dinosaur plastic toy. Spike. The stegosaurus.
