One and a Half Years
Dear Little Girl,
You are 18 months old today. That means I’ve been a mom for a year and a half. Although really I became a mom the day I found out you were on the way. From that moment, I have done everything I could to protect you and to keep you safe. In return, you’ve made me laugh and cry and smile and love you more every day. I don’t think there has been one single day since you were born that I haven’t smiled. I may not smile all the time, but I smile a lot.
