How to Make My Heart Skip a Few Beats…
…slip and fall down against the stairway closet door making a very loud noise and when I rush over to make sure you’re okay, open your mouth only slightly to cry letting me see the piece of red apple peel you are still chewing on, which upon first glance, made it look like you had a mouth full of blood.

That does sound pretty scary. Like when Jason slipped and fell in the bath. He however, did not have a piece of apple in his mouth and actually bit through 3/4 of his tongue!!! It was a long 3 weeks of healing

At least she didn’t have Ashton Kutcher run out and yell, “Hey mom, you have just been PUNKED!” ;)
Oh the fun is just beginning….just always stay calm and remember laughter is the best medicine! :)

Yeah, that would have scared me to death too! You’re braver than I am though - I didn’t let my girls eat apple peel until they were maybe 2 or 3.

Oh My God! That had to have been very very scary…I’m so glad it was just a piece of peel from an apple! Hope she is doing alright after this scary experience, and you, too! (lol)

Or just after you’ve had that last bit of strawberry from your sundae - don’t fall down and then do that screamless cry. That two seconds of silence while they gather up the breath for the scream of a lifetime seems like an eternity.
Just one of many heart atttacks you’ll be inches away from. That’s why they’re made of rubber.
