Here is what he said: "Yes, they do exist and they will stay around us as long as we continue to acknowledge them. We, as adults, don't see them because our souls are not pure any longer. When my granny was dying this past fall, she had Alzheimers, the only one of the family that she "remembered" was Harley. She would always ask for her little man because she couldn't remember his name. The rest of us were just those nice people that helped her. Granny would also talk to people that we couldn't see in the last week or so before she passed. She often talked to one man, she called him Skip, that had died when granny was a teenager. Apparently they had been good friends and he was waiting for her to finally be with him again. About a month after she passed away Harley started going into her bedroom and would stay there for a while, jabbering away. Every once in a while he'll stop whatever he is doing and look off into space and then grin and say OK. I like to think granny is coming to visit and her little man still entertains her.
